Coble for Ohio 2018
I was brought up by a liberal Republican mother and Methodist minister father.
Their teachings of fairness and honesty have become my core beliefs which led me to run for office. In this time of one party rule where the nation, state and this district have gerrymandered majorities that de*9-+*stroy the concept of one person, one vote, we have corrupted the meaning of Democracy and taken humanity out of our government with money and the Citizens United law.
I stand for the right of women to make a choice regarding their own bodies as establish in Roe vs. Wade.
I am for sensible gun laws such as universal background checks and banning devices like bump stocks. I am not opposed to hunting, or family protection. I am against the escalation of the deadliness of our weapons.
I believe we need to expand the Affordable Care Act and quit restrictions designed to push people, mainly those of lower income, out of the program.
We need to quit the “trickle down” policies of giving to the rich to take from the poor. We now have the largest discrepancy ever between the rich and poor.
We have a 2.7 billion dollar “rainy day fund.” We hoard this money while Ohio is in the top 5 states for opiod deaths.
My fellow Ohioans it’s raining to death here and we need to spend some of that fund on helping our citizens help themselves.
